Sveitabúðin Una (Una local store) (firm name Sveitabúðin UNA ehf) is a local store in the town of Hvolsvöllur in South Iceland. It was founded for two years ago by two sisters Valborg and Hildur daughters of Jón.

The store is in an old Nissen hut that was once a part of the first store in Hvolsvöllur many years ago.

The UNA local store got it´s name from a legend about the Una Álfkona (UNA the elf woman) who lived by the farm Rauðafell nearby Hvolsvöllur.

The Una Local store mainly offers local products, hand made from local people, products like wool sweaters, local food products, crafts and souvenirs. The store also offers a wide selection of all sorts of souvenirs and gifts.

Shopping local products made by local people you get unique things that you can´t by somewhere else, products of good quality.

The store is open every day from 10am to 6pm.

If you stop by we can also give you some travel tips about what to see and do in the area.

If you have any questions about the store or you are looking for certain product you can send us a messege and we will get back with you as soon as we can.

With our best regards
